fabian m. thomas
Born in England of Jamaican parents, fabian has taken on many roles over the years and feels that each one is as important as the next in defining who he is and his life’s work.
In the theatre he plays roles both on and off stage, as a writer, director, actor, singer, choreographer, spoken word poet and performer.
While working in entertainment in the tourism industry, he would continue his training and was soon named Entertainment Manager at Sandals Royal Caribbean. He held this position for 5 years, for which he was given two awards, named ‘Entertainment Manager of the Year’ by
The Jamaica Federation of Musicians.
fabian is the founder and Artistic Director of the performing arts collective Tribe Sankofa, a vibrant and eclectic cadre of multi-talented performers who combine their artistry to add an exciting new dimension to the performing arts landscape of Jamaica and the rest of the world. Our niche is “….borrowed and original spoken word/poetry, soulful song-styling uniquely blended with other visual and performing arts”.
fabian is dedicated to the Arts as a tool for transformation. In 2018, he self-published his collection of gratitude verses, affirmations and spoken word entitled New Thought, New Words.
He hosts a YouTube talk/interview show called Fabian Seh and is the co-host of a parenting podcast called ‘She has kids. He doesn’t’.
